Conscious Farmer
An informational meeting was held to inform farmers about the supports provided for the development of greenhouse farming activities within the framework of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock’s rural development support program.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Director of Food, Agriculture and Livestock İhsan Emiralioğlu said:
“As the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, we are making great efforts together with all our institutions in the field with our farmers to establish a sustainable and marketable production model in Kahramanmaraş. Currently, within the scope of the rural development support program of our Ministry and the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution, we have informed our farmers about the supports provided for the development of greenhouse farming activities in our region. As ministry officials, we believe greenhouse farming must be developed and expanded in our province due to its location in the Eastern Mediterranean region, favorable climate conditions, and proximity to market opportunities. Our work continues with strong effort and determination to ensure that farmers in our region earn more income in rural areas.”
